Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Adults

 Paddle Safe with the BCU

The BCU is committed to making sure that children and vulnerable adults enjoy paddlesport in a safe environment in which they are protected from any form of poor practice or abuse.

The Child Protection policy works to instill good practice and raise awareness for everyone involved in the sport.

Working together with the NSPCC, Child Protection in Sport Unit, and MWT consultants the BCU has developed policies and procedures to ensure that all reported concerns or allegations are investigated.
 Child Protection Resources

The BCU has developed a comprehensive list of resources to help clubs, schools, parents, athletes, volunteers and coaches.

Please note the links to the left will navigate you to the above resources. Hard copies are available if needed from the BCU head office.
