Events and Competition

A great way of introducing variety and helping young paddlers to develop a range of Paddlesport skills is by introducing some local events to your programme.    These pages will tell you more about what is on offer and give you details of where you can access them in each region.

The overall emphasis for all of the events is FUN whilst developing new skills – sometimes they are stand alone events – some are  “stepping stones” to the main Paddlesport disciplines and events.  They provide a great opportunity to try something different to what you might normally be able to run – often with specialist coaching to support the experience.   They also enable paddlers to complete sections of their Paddlepower progress cards (which can be signed off by the event organiser).

There are a whole range of events;

Check out details of these events by clicking on the headings on the left hand side.
