Candidates who completed the BCU Level 3 Training in either Canoe, Sea, Surf, or Inland Kayak prior May 2008 are able to proceed to assessment, whilst their trainee status remains valid. Assessments in the old scheme will continue until May 2011, by which time all trainees will have expired.
