BCU Sprint Racing's National Regattas - Volunteer Assistance for Start Gate System
The Start Gates system currently used at all the National Sprint Regattas at the National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham are maintained and installed by the World Class Programmes.
The BCU Sprint Racing Committee would like train two or three volunteers from the wider canoeing community to assist with the operation, assembly, installation and removal of the gates before and after a regatta.
This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in the Sprint Regattas with a long term possiblity towards eventually leading an assembly team. If you are interested in this role and would like more information, please contact the Volunteer Development Officer or David Enoch. David is available to discuss this opportunity during the day on Tuesday's and Thursday's by phone on 0115 982 1573.
